How it works and its limits
This tool re-renders each page as a compressed JPEG and rebuilds the PDF. It works well on scans and photo-heavy files. Text-based PDFs can come out larger, and text in the result is no longer selectable or searchable. Lower the quality or resolution for a smaller file; around 110 dpi and quality 60 is readable for most documents.
